  • 1 vanilla cake mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp corn starch
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups chopped strawberries
  • 4 cups chopped pineapple
  • 4 sliced bananas
  • 23 cups whipped topping
  • 810 cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding by whisking together milk, sugar, corn starch, salt, and vanilla in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted. Allow to cool.
  2. In your serving dish (Mason jars or trifle bowl), layer cubed vanilla cake at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of pudding on top followed by layers of strawberries, pineapple, and banana. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  4. Top each serving with whipped topping and garnish with cherries.
