  • For topping: 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered for 1-2 hours until doubled.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
