  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose seasoning blend
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Trim chicken breasts of excess fat and cut shallow slits across each piece.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, seasoning blend, basil, oregano, onion powder, sage, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken in a Ziploc bag or container and pour marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 5–8 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and ensure it’s clean.
  5. Grill chicken on one side for 3–4 minutes until grill marks appear; rotate for another 3–4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4–6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving hot or storing leftovers.
