  • 1 Tbsp red apple vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water, then toss with olive oil.
  2. Prepare the vegetables: Finely dice the sweet gherkins, red bell pepper, celery, red onion, and hard-boiled eggs.
  3. Make the dressing: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper until smooth.
