  • 1 box favorite cake mix (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy Melts (for coating)
  • Toppings: sprinkles, candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with vegetable oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes before crumbling it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  5. Mix in the frosting until well combined.
  6. Form small balls from the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Melt Candy Melts in a microwave-safe bowl at intervals until smooth.
  8. Dip sticks into melted Candy Melts before inserting them into each chilled cake ball; let set.
  9. Dip each cake pop fully into melted Candy Melts and add your desired decorations while still wet.
