  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 Tbsp. milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the canned pumpkin, brown sugar, maple flavoring, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 6×22 inches) and cut it into 8 even rectangles.
  4. Place one rectangle on a baking sheet, spoon the pumpkin mixture onto the center, then top with another rectangle and press down the edges to seal.
  5. Crimp the edges with a fork for decoration and to ensure they are sealed properly.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes until lightly browned.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, maple flavoring, and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Spoon over cooled poptarts.
